The couple brought not one piece of furniture with them to this house, so it served as a BLANK CANVAS. We selected all the new options for sumptuousness, function, and durability, and we slipcovered the dining chairs and upholstered almost all the pieces in solution-dyed acrylic fabrics for ease of maintenance. For contrast with all the rough-hewn textures, we layered in softness by employing natural hides, richly woven Moroccan rugs, and crisp linens, which energized the quiet palette with a high degree of texture and textural pattern.
